The strakes and fuel tanks are per plans, with a couple of modifications.
First, I disliked the plans fuel caps, so they were replaced with A36-LFF locking fuel caps from Aircraft Spruce.
Subsequent to this photo I sent the caps out to be engraved with N753CZ, 30 Gallons 100LL.
The other modification was to add Nick Ugolini's capacitive fuel probes. They are an EZ retrofit, so it was a simple addition after the strakes were already complete.
The last fuel-related modification was to remove the Weatherhead valve and replace it with the Allen Valve.
I modified the placard I had previously made for the correct indications. Then I laser-etched the lettering the valve indicator. Del Shier had a spare of the pointed indicator with the D cut facing the right way, so I bought it from him. It is a really nice piece of work.
