Chapters 4-8 - Fuselage Assembly

Fuselage assembly for SN 413-689 is exactly per plans, with no deviations.  The only later modifications that were made were the addition of the windows in front of the strakes, and the addition of Vance Atkinson's sight gauges for fuel.  Both of these are worthwhile changes that do not take much time.  The side windows would be better off built in so that you do not have to make the dish-out for the control sticks.

All of the fuselage was completed by Michael. The access door on the side was deleted by Kevin by removing the hardware and cutting the side window in the same place.

The latch was replaced with a very heavily modified Hendricks Manufacturing latch.  It took many iterations in CAD, a couple of 3D printed prototypes, and three CNC machined aluminum versions until I was happy enough to stop working on it.

Kevin later added Vance Atkinson's fuel sight gauges.
